So... These are my latest creations. I used 100+ year old wood from an hold home on our property. I collected the rocks from Oregon beaches with the exception of the amethyst, which I tumbled to give it a finished look. I hung some of these flower boards beside a barn quilt I painted. Fun, fun...
This blog is my way of sharing tiny tidbits and moments around our hobby farm. Some tidbits may be informative while others are simply for humor. Enjoy!

Ayla... My steady-Eddie:).
Ayla is my heart horse... Haven't really ridden her in 2 years. Got on her yesterday and it was like no time had lapsed at all:). This is what happens when you combine good breeding, a great training foundation, trust, and love. I spend a lot of time with her, but just haven't ridden in a while. Going to be focusing on getting back into horse shape over the next two months...

Barn Quilt on Horse Run In
I got the newest barn quilt hung on the horse's run in shelter. Of course, Paisley is under foot, as always:).
Duck, Guinea, and Chicken Eggs
I LOVE the huge eggs our ducks give us. Our larger hens also lay quite sizable eggs, but nothing compared with the ducks...

Fake Egg
Made a "fake egg" for this little chick that was born 4 days after other. Is breathing, was only half way out of shell and was cold. Mom chick was out playing with oldest baby and this little one needed warmth. So I stuck it in my bra and brought it in and placed under the heat lamp. I am keeping fingers crossed.
